I just set my tank up on the 10th, and once I get everything stable, and more plants, seeing as how I prefer a planted tank, I was going to be looking for some Golden Rams or GBR's. Id like a pair as I like wtahcing my fish reproduce. (As in, watching fry grow up LOL!)
So my question is,
Does anyone know any place in houston that does/can sell these? Id honestly prefer Goldens, but GBR's are my next choice.
Last time I worked in the industry, 6/7 years ago, they were somewhat difficult to obtain. Everytime I'd place an order for the store, there were none to be found :<
Since I havent been keeping up with the local industry, I have no idea whos still in buisness, whos rep has fallen/improved, etc. I dont wanna go somewhere that is notorious for poor tank-keeping, bad quality fish, blah blah, and I'd honestly prefer local buisnesses to a Petco/Smart, especially when it comes to fish. The main reason I ask this part, is because I am in Baytown and driving to W-Htown is a long drive. I remember most stores being ont hat side LOL.
Any info would be appreciated!
