  • Dual tank set up Question What kind of....

The set up is a dual tank which Mike from this forum sold me (thanks mike)
Bottom tank is a 40 gallon Im running it with an Eheim 2215
Top tank is a 55 gallon on an Eheim 2217

What I want to do is keep 3 oscars in the top (55) gallon tank
And use the bottom (40) gallon tank to keep 100 or so feeders for the oscars.
Feeders are ugly and no fun to watch, what kind of bright colored fish that wont eat the feeders can i keep in there?

I prefer a bright yellow or blue because the gravel and background is black.

Thanks in advance for the help !
I am somewhat new to the hobby and still learning

first: 3 oscars in a 55 is a bit tight. they will outgrow that 55 real quick.
second, you can train your oscars to eat pellet, that way you don't have to rely on the feeder and so don't have to raise them. dont know where you buy your feeders from, but i don't trust most of the feeders from the store ( they may carry diseases or virus from being in bad water).
    Just my opinion.

Raise guppies, mollies or platties in the 40 gallons. They breed like crazy. Especially when the water is brackish.
