Does anyone still vacuum the gravel when doing water changes?

My tanks with gravel & HOB filters, I vacuum every water change. On my tanks with sand & higher filtration (90 gallon tall w/ FX5 & 600 gph circulation pump) I have not had to vacuum the substrate. As the other guys have said, higher flow rates, not too much settling of debris & waste to be much of a problem. I have noticed that since adding more flow to my gravel substrate tanks via circulation pumps, the debris has lessened so that may be worth adding one if you haven't already.
