just finish shocking the water with ek's old filter pad from his wet/dry... tmw 20% water change and i think it'll be fine... =D

Yay, nothing like some old filter padding to get the cycling going. Hopefully, that will help. Keep us updated on how the fish are doing. I hope they start doing better soon!

Might take a little longer. It may still take another week for the tank to cycle with the seeded filter pad, but at least you're on a good path now. Let's just hope the little fry can hang in there in time. The water change probably gave them some relief.

I think as long as you keep a close eye on it you'll be ok, I've done several tanks fully stocked and some over stocked this way and never seen any ill effects.
