Out of Town 3 Day Feeding Tabs

I have seen those little white things at the stores for feeding your fish over the weekends, I am going to be out of town this weekend and it is the first time I haven't been here to feed my fish and there is no one else who can do it.  Any advice here please, like stuff I should know.  
10 gallon: 3 guppies
20 gallon: 3 guppies
30 gallon: 5 juvi angels, 7 cories, 4 tetra, 4 small danios

When i go away for the weekend i feed them extra food on my way out the door. It didnt harm them to go without food from friday to sunday

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about using those 3 day tabs.  If you have ever watched one dissolve, you'll see why.  I don't really see the nutritional value.  Plus Brown is right, they can go a few days without food.  Just hit them good before you walk out the door and don't worry about it.

I'm planning on leaving for for a week and I am probably gonna let them starve while I'm gone.

Hard to trust anyone with them.

I leave a piece of zucchini or romaine lettuce in there when I am gone 3-6 days.

I fast also while I am out on vacation....it's actually good for them every once and a while!

Thanks so much.  That is what I needed to know.  armthehomeless, what kind of fish eat zucchini and lettuce.  I know I have seen them in the fish stores for goldfish and snails, I am just wondering if my angelfish would eat it.

Not sure about zucchini and lettuce, but just wanted to, um, sixth the suggestion to let them fast. Plus, if they get hungry, in planted tanks there's a lot they can forage. I, too, have gone away for a week or so and everyone was fine when I returned. So, just one less thing to spend your money on!  :)

I went out of town for a week too, and thought when I would return that they might be dead. But they weren't! So yeah they will live just fine, but to be nice put a good amount in there right before you leave :-)

I went to Mexico for a week and bought a little automatic feeder that you can get at Petsmart for like 10-20. But I also know that fish in nature actually go through periods where they do not eat for a week or two. But I felt cruel for doing that so i had to go buy the feeder. besides the tabs are horrible they leave a nice tint to your water

I agree, let them go without food.  I fast my fish (and my dog) once a week.  As I always say, a hungry fish is a healthy fish.
