I am having trouble raising my babies. I have parents that raise but when they are 2 to 3 weeks they start swimming in circles and die! I am feeding brine shrimp daily to them and doing partial water changes every other day! I have lost a lot of babies !! Any help would be appreciated before I give up!

OK. First are you hatching your own brineshrimp? Are you removing the fry? Angels spawn and it takes 48 hours to hatch. then another 5 days to become free swimmers. on that day you need to feed fresh hatched brineshrimp. Angels live of their egg sack for 5 days. Brine shrimp live on their egg sack for two days. So angel fry need no more then two day old brine shrimp. it takes 36 hours to hatch brine shrimp. so you need two hatcheries. you feed from one and start the other. So you have fresh baby brine shrimp hatching every two days. Also you need to rinse the salt out of the brine shrimp. if you don't it will kill thim.
Are you removing the fry? if you are use a one gl. glass jar. with an air stone. do 50% water changes everyday with aged water. the smaller Jar is easyer to keep clean and keep up with the water changes.
If this is not helpful I will give you my number and you can call.Nothing Kills Evil Like a Sharp Stick...

Okay so here is what I am doing and you tell me which part is wrong. I allow the parents to hatch in 10 gallon tank and when it is time to feed the fry and they are free swimming I remove the parents. I use the 10 gallon for them so is it to big? Next I am feeding the decapsoliated hatchable eggs which hatch in 24 hours but may not of been rinsing well so I will do that!! I was told they had more food value since they did not have to break shell to hatch! Also no choking on shell if I miss it! I got one batch up to pea and then one morning all were dead. I am changing 30 % water on the 10 gallon every other day. Is that enough and it is aged water as I keep a 5 gallon bucket ready for this! I keep the water around 78 to 80 degrees! It may be the salt in the eggs I am not getting out since I usually just strain and feed! I am lucky as I only have one that will not parent raise. I have one pair of double black veils and 4 pair Koi veils of 50% or better color! I have a source to sell if I could just raise them so it is frustrating!! I know I have good pairs so it must be something I am doing. I am feeding the parent a anglefish mix along with brine shrimp flakes and golden pearls and blood worms and they are beautiful. Have had good luck raising peas up as that is how I got these pairs. I have one male that for some unknown reason I found the female dead but he is a egg eater so I will be rehomeing him! Shame since he is gorgeous!! Let me know what I need to change as I have a pair cleaning the slate off now getting ready to lay!!

I now nothing about decapsoliated brine shrimp. But what I do know. Its about the eggsack that holds what the baby lives off of. so the fry get the most from that part. You should feed three times a day. also you should do daily water changes of 50%.
In my opinion its the water. under feeding will cuase slow growth but bad water will kill. I keep my water at room temp. about 75f. this makes water changes easier on the fry. no big temp change...
If I had a Buyer for my babys. I would never parent raise. I would remove befor they hatch. the parents will spawn ever ten days that way.or a day or two longer. Also you will have more live to be sold.
As I look back at this thread. One other thing use anti-fungal in the Egg water not in the fry water. You need to keep that water fresh all the time. again 50% water changes everyday...
