Fish R Us out in the woodlands/conroe

Anyone been there lately?

Anything cool/oddball to make the trip worth it?

Endlers, cool tetras, tanganyikan cichlids, shrimp, etc?


Got the day to myself and not sure what to do.

i was in there a week ago....he was low on most things but he did have endlers. he was expecting a new shipment soon though, not sure if he ever ordered plants. i didnt pay much attention to cichlids but he usually has a good selection of those and catfish.

You rememeber what kind of endlers he had?

i dont know anything about them so i cant say, he did have a nice tank of large emperor tetras, penquin tetras, and some cardinals which he has had for a month and are acclimated to city water. there were some med sized black veil angels. no shrimp but many types of crayfish. and "fruitloop" xenopus frogs. <---grrr

The white ones aren't dwarfs.

Gotta mean impulse itch and its either HAW or FishRUs which are both on opposite sides of town.

yeah i just read that HAW has amanos, i may head that way later if AW doesnt have them

I was just up at fish r us a couple days ago. Real nice stock of fish, but mostly SA and Malawi. I dont pay attention to the live bearer aisle really. Only thing that caught my eye there were the danios I picked up for my skiddish afra and a tank full of "figure 8" puffers

Fish R Us has been there for quite some time... last time I was there though was maybe 4yrs ago. They had a nice giant MBU puffer at the time but don't remember much else.

What kind of danios did you get?

Just 6 giant danios, close to 3". Nothing special, just wanted something cheap, fast and dumb for dither fish. Seemed to be working too
