What is this and where do i get a few?

the right piece is black kinda rubbery, and the small side fits in the return pipe for a 2217, the left piece fits in the black piece so you can turn and twist the direction of flow anywhere you want

It's off a 2232 that somehow the guy who sold you the filter got hold of. Might wanna look at the parts list for the 2232. It's called "swivel output".

I have owned 2217 for years abg have broke them down a bunch of times and have never seen anything like that before. I don't think it belongs to a 2217

it's actually on the 2232, i have, but that doesn't matte,r cause it's the same return pip as the 2217, and i still can't find it online or on a parts list
