Boil Order in Galveston!

Just saw this on the news, just wanted to post it in case any of you in Galveston area haven't heard it. There is a boil order currently in effect in Galveston, due to levels of bacteria (e. coli) in the water, making it unsafe for 'human or pet consumption'. I don't know if e.coli will kill fish or not, but I hate seeing so many people have water quality issues lately, resulting in loss of fish... :( Better safe than sorry.

Keep your fish, and dry pets- and yourselves- safe!!

Yeah. It means the man is ordering you to boil your tap water before using it, it's contaminated and will make you sick if used straight from the tap. Probably bad for the fishies, too.

e.coli is in pretty much every body of water that people swim in. as long as you have a healthy immune system, it's not that big of a deal as long as you don't drink the water. but ya, i would still boil your water.
