Does anyone know the name or where i might find these.... i beleve they are S.A. cichlids i think a couple of these and a couple (red terrors)-Cichlasoma festae would make a pretty sweet S.A.Tank....

I don't think it's a dempsey. It may be a hybrid of some other fish though. Nothing is coming to mind.

      Where'd the pics come from?

Also, not quite sure if you'd want to put it in with True Red Terrors. They will tear the fish apart! Stray away from anything that looks any bit similar to the Festaes!

I had a mystery flowerhorn that was sold to me as a classic kamfa. It resembled more of a synspillum, but I got rid of it.

Cool! Not quite sure where to find these. Never saw them at any of the LFS. Try Jeff Rapps? Quality fish but shipping rates blow up the price.

I recommend Cichlids of the Americas for the Panto. He loves the hobby - nice fish.

I raise V. Synspilum (Redheads). I have about 6 F1 nice juvies, already have beautiful red heads and coloring up nicely. Various sizes 2, 3 & 4".

I will have some Red Festae fry soon....the little Terrors!!! They have to be in tank to themselves. Also have a few Dovii fry.
                      Thanks so much,
                      Lydia

Not to thread jack, but would you be willing to selling some fry? If so, how many do you have and for how much?
