my angels demonstrate the whole sleep thing the best of any of my fish.  If I go in and they are still sleeping, I find them on the bottom of the tank, colors all faded... and do not come running for food.  Before I put a sponge over the filter they used to sleep "stuck" to the intake and every morning I could slide my hand in and set them free.

This made me laugh until my eyes were tearing up...I just imagined going to sleep in my bed at night and then waking up stuck to the A/C intake in the house!    Thank you for that!!!

your image was far more funny.
The first time I walked in and turned the lights on (prior to sunrise) I FREAKED!
Now I turn the lights on and return in about 5 minutes and they are up and about.
