My house has been infested with many bugs lately. Roaches. Beatles. Ants. And many more. I will be bombing the house with the raid bomb today. Wondering if anyone has done it and does it effect fish tank? I read online that to cover it with sheets or plastic. But if anyone has experience this before let me know if its safe.

Very harmful to them if any gets in the tank. Just think, if it can kill a roach, your fish won't stand a chance. Cover tightly with a plastic sheet and then tape it make it air tight. If you have a wet dry, do the same. Or cover with something else.

I do the same. I turn off all the power - filters, lights, air pumps, etc. Then I cover with towels or thick blankets depending on the tank size. I think I've done it about once a year.

I usually do the same with my fish tanks, though inverts are crazy sensitive. We sprayed Bengel on the other side of the living room in a crack and it killed half the Sulawesi shrimp nearly 30 feet away. So, if you have any invert stuff be super careful and cover quite awhile after you spray it.In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.
