LED recommendation

Honestly since it's just fish, I think the Current USA Sat+ LED fixture would work very well. You can program it to create thunderstorm-like effects, true dusk/dawn effects with the high orange and red LEDs fading into blues. Blues at night. All with one fixture. I've seen this one in the past rigged up to do thunderstorms and I'm still in awe. I'd love to get one for my low light 10gal for the cool effects.

How many strips would I need for 92 corner bowfront?

One 48" should do the trick. If you want moon lights, you'd need two, but these things are so slim that two wouldn't take much space.

I checked out the Current USA Sat+ lights. They're more on the Low/med side. Cool effects though!

21@24"/36@12" micromols would put the light at about low/med.



Since you're doing cichlids only, this light would work well if you like the cool effects.

Nope. If you're running over 90, you must be doing a fish-less planted tank and dosing the crap out of it with CO2!

Well a 48" stunner is about $80-100 with shipping. The current usa sat+ LEDs are about $100-120 with shipping. Not that big of a difference unless you want moonlighting, then you'd have to double up on stunners or go with a cheap alternative moonlighting.

It was almost two years ago so I don't remember the exact amount, but they bested the cheapest I could find online.

Hint: buy a 24v power supply on eBay for cheap.
