Sunken pirate ship

My nephew gave my son a pirate ship for his tank. I was looking at it and it has fabric for the sails and some kind of rope or twine for the rigging. It came out of a tank so I guess its ok to put in his. I just wounldn't think you would be able to use this and not have a problem with it..
