Aqua scaping question

So i want to do a dutch style for my new 25 g CPD tank and it currently looks like this

and i want to try something like this

and was wondering if having three rocks is too many, maybe just one in the corner or in the middle surrounded by the plants? or remove the rocks all together and save them for something else

ill be switching over to CO2 and a Eheim canister filter with lily pipes the filter was there just to grow some media while the canister is being shipped in.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

I'd do no rocks if ur gonna do discus, if not just do one or two rocks max

That pic is of a style called Iwagumi (very minimalistic) that was popularized by Takashi Amano. It usually involves three stones, never seen it applied to a dutch style garden tank though there is always something new to try out! Your Celestial Pearl Danios should be fine, they do prefer their water a bit harder. With CO2 it will fall a bit more acidic, but I have seen them do well in CO2 injected tanks before. Yeah i obtained the rocks from ADG as i was going to use them for a shrimp tank but i decided to do a planted fish tank instead so i was going to do a dutch style tank with maybe the big rock in the middle or on the side but not sure yet as im awaiting for the C02 system to come still and of course then ill be ordering the plants and thanks alot guys!

a lot of people on the board here are really helpful and give away trimmings for free. just depends on the plants you are interested in and if they have any available. my planted tank started out all with donations from members. keep an eye out for postings in "Free Stuff" or ask around in there
