I use Medo brand and it work great in two year non stop with 6 out put on my 210 gal Geo raise tank. worth any penny I spend for this pump. This is pump use for hospital and made from Japan so it will last for long time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Medo-Linear-...item541c64bfcb

Pondmaster ap 20 is insane. A bit pricey, but this thing will last a decade. Definitely worth every penny and rated for 2000 gallons. Available on several online sites. You can use large mist diffusers to get a cool mist look instead of the boring bubble look. I've seen the AP40 in action on a 180gal tank and man the water movement rivals most canister/sump pumps.
