Just bought a bottle of 475ml Melafix and aquarium salt. The bottle will be enough to treat 150 gallon for 1 week. I think I will leave her in the tank and treat the whole tank. This would be less stress on her than trying to put her in a smaller tank.
What is the recommended dosage for aquarium salt?010G Long fin BN grow-out

Thank you Barrett. I don't know what happened to her. Could be aggression, or maybe just accident she scraped herself to the sharp edge. As a precaution, I will remove all the lace rock and replace with round river rocks.010G Long fin BN grow-out

Agree with what everyone has been saying to this point. water changes are key. salt and melafix is a good treatment.
i have a silver dollar that one eye goes cloudy often. no other fish have same symptom. as long as i keep up on water changes it clears up, but if i go too long it creeps back in for some reason. melafix didnt help my silver dollar, but if clean water works, i stick with it.

Yes, clean water is the best medicine. Can't argue with that.010G Long fin BN grow-out
