T&T Fish and Reef

So I finally made a trip to T&T last weekend. It's a pretty cool place and I was looking around with no intention to buy anything... And then I saw them. They had the most beautiful guppies I've ever seen in a lfs!!! I say HAD because Beth and I bought them all up! Okay, maybe not all of them. I bought 5 guppy males, but the guy helping us dropped one of my fish. Like an idiot I told him I would still get it because it was my daughters favorite colorings (going to surprise her), but it died by morning. I went back on Sunday to get a replacement and a few more... I left with another 6. Oh they are soooo pretty and I have them in the quarantine tank now. T&T charges more for guppies at $4 than I see most places, but they are so gorgeous I thought they were worth it. I'll definitely be back there to see if they keep getting stock like that.

The Houston Aquarium Society Auction is August 2. there will lots of high end guppy's there.

I really like Crizz's girl guppies. Their bodies look like pearl, not the normal more gold colored tone. Crizz and I were drooling when we saw the guppies at T & T and I agree with him, I've never seen guppies as pretty as what we saw at T & T. All of mine are beautiful but I have one with a cobra body and a tail that looks like black velvet. Oh my gosh that fish is gorgeous.

The Auction will have a little of everything. I have been a couple times and loved it. I may go to this one with plants.

I do want to go. Is it at the same place as every other year? The links are really outdated and there's been no new material in almost 10 years on the club page. How am I supposed to stalk the club like this?!

Reminds me of when I used to go to dog shows. Every thing about it was such a huge thrill. So far I've found fish people to be MUCH nicer than dog people though.

i think they should jsut post a sign ont he guppy table for "SOLD OUT" before the even even begins
