Question about a pump for wet/dry suggestions needed.

I have a wet/dry aquaclear 125 with a regular pond pump. The pump I have is not really for saltwater and this is a saltwater tank. I purchased it as an emergency pump one morning when I woke up and my pump was burned up. Any way I'm not sure how many of you have saltwater but my question is:
What size pump could I actually use with a single overflow box? I am looking at:
1)Quiet one Pump: Model: 2200 Max head: 9.8 ft Fitting: 1" MPT Gph: 581

I think the pump that I have now has a 3/4" fitting (rated at 530 gph). I have 3 Tee connectors and 4 directional u-tubes connected to about 5'-6' of tubing. I did this instead of having one directional u-tube. I have one all the way to the left, 2 in the middle (pointing in opposite directions) and one all the way to the right (6' tank). I tried to do a little diagram so that you get the idea. l is the hose, + is the tee connector, = is directioanal u-tube.

The thing is that the pump I have in my wet/dry has a knob to adjust the pump. I don't believe these others have that. I need to know what size pump to get so that it don't overflow or run dry. I don't know what the actual flow rate is on my pump, I adjusted it until the water level stayed at the water line. When it comes to this wet/dry, pumps, flow rates etc. I am totally in the dark. Or is there another pump you could suggest for saltwater?

Tank: 120 gallons 6' long about 4.5' tall from floor to top of the tank. Sorry I am not home to get an accurate measurement.

I would go with the mag7 or even the 9.5, you a good amount of head pressure to overcome with all the T's and splits. With the ball valve you can piece one together from HomeDepot, if you are hard plumbed then you can plumb in the valve but if not you would have to get the fittings for the ball valve to convert to a barb fitting which is available at HD as well....get most of your stuff in the PVC section and for the barb fittings I found mine in the drinking water/refrigerator section.

I have regular tubing not pvc pipe.
So I can just a ball valve to control the flow rate for the pump and that would work with the 9.5 mag?

yep, I'm thinking you won't be adjusting much with the many splits you have though.

I was not quite sure how to adjust the flow, and never even thought of a ball valve.
