'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
how about 4-6 of the dwarf cories (pygmy, hastatas or hasbrosus), a half-dozen bororas, a bamboo shrimp and an oto? You could probably put a few rcs in too, doubt the bororas would bother them much.

Hmmm. where is a good place to get boraras? For some reason, I haven't had good luck with pygmy cories. I think I'll arrange it around one of my pairs of killifish. Probably this one:
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
if you decide to put some cherry shrimp in let me know and I will set you up w/ some. some of mine are sharing thier little tank w Meg's long fin ABN. It's finally bigger than the shrimp ! LOL

That's a nice killi Tim - what kind is it?
Not sure where to get any bororas. I have 4 brigittae that I got at Megan's. I was there this past week tho, and she doesn't have them again. Doubt she will since announcing that she's closing shop. Maybe try aquabid?
Aquazoo has some clown killis, and some pencilfish. I forget what prices were on them. Don't know who currently has any of the dwarf cories. Hastatus are my favorites, but they seem a bit more delicate than the others, and pretty skittish. They're a mid-level swimmer though, unlike the pygmaeus.

justdoit - I'm glad to hear that the pleco is bigger than the shrimp now! All of my ABN are in with RCS too :)
Spot86t - It is a Chocolate Australe - Aphyosemion australe - I got them from Fish Gallery a while back. I think they still have some. It is good to know that the hastatus are a bit more delicate, that was the type that I had that didn't make it. Maybe I'll give one of the other varieties another shot. I found a guy in Dallas that has some Boraras. It seems as though some tough decisions are doing to need to be made.

Get with Nick at FishRanchII, he's making custom acrylic tanks dirt cheap and nice!
Then get with screenname cause he has an ADA mini solar s light.
Get with NASH then cause we will be ordering from Invertz Factory soon and he carries Boraras.
Tim, if you decide to try hastatus again, try feeding them grindals. I have a crew that seem to love them (actually everything seems to love grindals) but disappointingly they are still very shy and I dont get to see them much :(. The habrosus I had seemed the most friendly, they pygmaeus come out but run and hide at the slightest thing. They happen to be the only ones I've had successfully breed for me.
Those butterfly barbs sure are striking! You could also try some of the blue-eye rainbows. I may have a surplus of signifers that I could shed... I'd have to do a fin count though.
