fish and bikes

OK, I'm a hunt for a pleco, and some Cory's and what else i find i like, problem is my truck sucks gas.
How would fish cope with a bike ride home?
I ride a Honda with aftermarket pipes (somewhat loud, but quieter than most Harley's)
i have one saddle bag on the left side away from heat (exhaust is in the right)

Should they insulate the backpack?? So the fish won't jiggle all over the place?

Depends on the backpack. I think they would fare better in a backpack then a saddlebag.

you could get a friend to drive you around.
