    I just add it as necessary to maintain the color....maybe leave it a day or two after the hatch

          This works well for me. Move slate w/ eggs into a smaller container containing water from the orig. tank. Put about 3 times as much recommended methylene blue in the water. Put an airstone as near to the eggs as possible. You shouldn't have to put in any more meth. Be prepared. Once the babies start free-swimming, you need to feed live baby brine shrimp. I usually have a few eggs turn white; I just leave them; other folks pick them out with tweezers.
