OH! I didn't know they went back to that name! I thought they were still calling themselves 1800-SeaHorse.

Ah, I was wondering why 1800-seahorse looked to be so close to Fish Ranch II! Yes, they go by Fish Ranch, though they haven't got their big sign back up after Ike ruined it :(

Yes, a lot of members live on the North side of town. I live on the Southwest side, but grew up on the Southeast side. There were very few fish stores down there...even back then. I used suggestions from members AND google to try and find all the LFS in the area and even google didn't give much back on the Southside.

If anyone knows any LFS in the South side, please post here so I can add them to the map.

He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

I thought Neptunes was one of the best maintained LFS I've ever seen, but their prices were high. They changed ownership a couple of times and move a few blocks east on Fuqua - hense new name.

J&H was a couple of blocks west of the mall, w/ asian owners and the Giant Albino Gourami. (almost as big as mine)

It's been a few years, but there was a nice little LFS in the strip center on the southeast corner of Scarsdale & Beamer.

I will have to see if that one is still there.Close to my folks. They are in Sagemont.Wow I liked J&H, always found a few deals there to take back home with us when we visit.Yes neptunes was a nice store just high and not much selection in my eyes.So is there any good stores in Houston well worth checking out while I am there?I have always noticed that your prices are better than in Dallas stores.Even your feeder goldfish were less than half what we have to pay.

Fish Ranch is still there on Almeda. The owner's name is Andy. He and Mike (the owner of Fish Ranch on Larkwood) are brothers.
