A little Vietnamese place, but they have great prices and some pretty fish. Its between Almeda Mall ( left) in South Houston and the strip center (on the right). I haven't bought anything except for cichlids there, but they are nice people and will take trades.Your fish- store credit or purchase on the spot. Just talk to them.

Just a FYI if you are looking at the store map in the articles section...Blue Reef Exotic Fish is closed

It reopened as the Docktor Pet Center for a short while and has now closed AGAIN until 20 Sep 2012.

I wont be holding my breath, 8 months of rent with no income doesnt leave me feeling good about a grand opening, which is too bad because it was a nice store and we dont have many on the north side

Doktor Pet Center has reopened on the NE side of town near Deerbrook Mall. He wont be stocked completely for another two weeks but at least there will now be another option out our way
