      Hi.
So many things can be a mystery, when all we're seeking is freedom...

Welcome! We at one time kept poison dart frogs, but in the long run the fly cultures got to be too much of a pain. We've seriously considered getting a couple red eyed tree frogs, but I'm not sure crickets would be much more fun

You guys sure are friendly and welcoming. Glad I chose this site. I do keep a journal of all my experiences. If you need any info on breeding any of the fish I have bred(frogs too) just let me know. I will email you pics of my dendrobates in email, just PM me. Yes I will be at the expo, as long as life allows. As far as fly cultures(wingless fruit fly), I do not use them. I actually put a small butter tub(with a small hole in the lid) with compost and maggots in it. Then when the maggots morph to fly's they fly out the hole. The frogs have learned to wait by the tub hole, to wait for food. Also, with red eyes you really do not want to feed crickets,(maybe as a snack). They do not do well long term, due to the exoskeleton on the crickets. I use beetle larvae, the fly's, and when I can get them I use blue eyed crickets or blind cave crickets they are softer.
Life's to short to worry and too long to wait
Its too short not to love everybody, and Life's too long to hate

Ps. Dart frog success is really about temperature.
Tree frog success is to avoid dessication without getting so moist that mold prospers.

                Thanks!! :)

I'm telling you, though, if you ever want to post pictures or share stories here on HFB, we'd love to hear them. No prompting at all. Just if you ever feel the urge.

The stories, not the pictures. We'd rather see the pictures than hear them.
Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!

You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.

Ok I can do that. I already added to the Anabas Testudineus profile on the the fish and plants profile section. Mainly just some quick breeding info.
