I dont think anybody will be able to tell you what sex it is until they see the fish in person. Sounds like you got a good deal. I paid like $60 for my Flowerhorn (it was originally $120 but I had a great hook up). I've seen Flowerhorns for sale for like $400. Start a new thread and post a bunch of pics for us to see.If it ain't wild caught
