  • Hey we are from Lake Jackson!!

Just wanted to say hello and get the ball rolling on the whole forum thing....me and my boyfriend have a 65 gallon tank with 14 different fish in it. They are mostly african cichlids with the exception of our black lace catfish and our three silver dollars. We are new to the aquarium life and have been successful these last 6 months of keeping our tank clean and alive. We are looking into getting another tank for saltwater soon but are still undecided on what exactly we want. Hope to meet some fishy people on here and maybe some beer drinking buddies in the area!!

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

I am in Katy, but my Mom lives off "This Way" in Lake Jackson. She has a 90g tank I setup with Malawi Cichlids. Personally I keep Lake Tanganyika fish.
