The weather was one of the few concerns I had. I sunburn pretty easily.

It's funny. My dad said, "They have hurricanes down there. Rattlesnakes, too."

I've lived in Michigan (near Lake Michigan) for all but three years of my life. We had temperature swings in back-to-back days on a weekend of 65 degrees and 35 degrees. It was ridiculous. Those other three years were spent in Maine. Everything's fine, then you're not leaving your house because the snow has buried your car. I'll never forget coming home from visiting family, and not being able to pick my car out of the snow pile.

I'm with you...if I spend too much time outside in the Summer, I fear I would be reduced to a pile of ashes. I tend to move from one air conditioned building to another.

That's what I thought, too. I'm going to treat the heat like I treat the winters here. I'm only outside if I'm walking to and from the car.
