  • A noob from the SW side of town (UPdated w/ Pic)

Hey everyone hope all is well. Well my gf and i have finaly started in our new hobby. We have just acquired a 14g Biocube with live rock and sand from a forum member (Jverg) awesome person and very knowledgeable. Bought the tank from him and he helped to setup 25lbs of live rock and 20lbs of live sand. Also helped us with the water and transport. Just want to thank him and HFB. My gf and i are glad to have come across this forum. As of right now are tank is cycled and if there is anyone that would be willing to help us to get a head start with some corals and or fish would be of great help. once again A GREAT BIG THANX TO JACOB (Jverg) and HFB!

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

yes i have been. Every week my fiance takes water to petco to get it tested. We do water changes every 2 weeks. Also keep up with the nutrients and supplements that needed to be added weekly. And as for the frag swap...I would be going there but my GF was going crazy because i was willing to skip mardi gras in New orleans to stay back and get some new corals...but unfortunately i will be outta town in new orleans for the weekend. But i have a buddy of mine who is working on my blasto so i will be looking forward to getting that from him next week. Will up date as new things occur. Thank you all
