Hello all you fellow fish mongers. I have been out of the hobby for a few years but getting back into it. I have a 30 and a 20 for now. Getting a 55 in the next couple weeks.  This is an awsome site and i tip my hat to the ones that regulate and maintain this site.  I have allready learned much from and about the regulars on here.  I have a couple questions. I try to change my avater and it keeps resetting.  Also i am going to attempt to set the 20g up as a planted tank, any advice would be helpfull and appreciated. I have a subscription to Aquarium Fish magazine but it does address my concerns of co2 comsumption. This is my first attempt at a planted tank. Thanks in advance and I love this site..

I can assure you, you don't want my advice on a planted tank, I'm more into recyclying plants.  You know, buy, watch go downhill, buy more   .

I can, however direct you to a great site for shrinking pictures for your avatar.  They even have a special section for shrinking to pics to avatar size.

Welcome!  I just started my first planted tank a few weeks ago, it's a lot of work but also a lot of fun.  There are quite a few people on here that can give you great advice about them.  You may want to list your specs so people can taylor their advice for you (lighting, substrate, water parameters, planned inhabitants, etc).

welcome to the box.....i have a 75 and a 29 gallon planted tanks.....i'm not an expert....but i will gladly chit chat about them....show  you pics....there are very experienced individuals on here i must say....they have helped me alot....and they are very nice to go along with the knowledge base they have....so again welcome.....
