I will be interviewing in Sugarland i assume. Not sure what sector i want to go into yet(the 2nd interview is pretty much a job orientation from what i hear). But i know i will be a field engineer. ANd yes i just graduated this may in Biomedical Engineering(yea i know nothing to do with the oilfield but ehhhh it looks interesting).

Schlumberger is an awesome company to start with just out of college.. they are going to give you a TON of experience.
Schlumberger is one of those companies that on a resume looks REALLY good especially if you decide to move on in say 3-5 years.
Sugarland is the main campus for Schlumberger.   Excellent place to work at.  From Pasadena, its a drive I am sure..  Take Beltway 8 all the way to 59 and back in the evening.   The evening commute is going to suck because everyone is leaving the sugarland area is like yourself, either going to 288 (Pearland) or I45 for the Clear Lake area / Friendswood / Pasadena area.

Yea i know the drive is goin to suck...

But i dont expect to be in sugarland office too long if i get the job. Ill be heading off onsite to a rig for training, and that could be just about anywhere

Yeah they are great at sending people off..   There are a TON of rigs in the gulf, or you could also goto Alaska (Pruedoe Bay)

welcome to HFB, i am very new here too, but have had so much help from everyone here, i think you will love it

and its always great to see longhorns here, that is my alma mater, its been a while but i still miss and love austin - undoubtedly the best place in texas and one of the best places on earth  :P

SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!  That rocks :)   well if you call the helpdesk (for computer support) and decide you want to talk to me, just ask to speak to Jesper.  They will tell you I am not an analyst, just tell them its a personal matter and they will hunt me down and get me on the phone (ie if I am in the building and available)...
