i have still been keeping low maintenance community type aquariums all along but i now have the time that i need for others things again so i am converting a 75g back to a planted setup in which i hope to eventually house altum angels, discus, cardinal tetras, corydorus, and rams along with my longtime cleanup crew of two ancistrus and some greybeard oticinclus. i was recently gifted some white pearl (snowball) shrimp from the generous JustDoIt and have housed those in a Marineland Half Moon 10g setup. I love the scale of the aquarium but the LED lights and cover are terrible and the filter could use an upgrade. I am hoping to hang a 2x18/20w T5HO fixture over it and try out a fluval U2 in tank filter. I wish that you could spraypaint LEDs because the the stock lights would make an okay moonlight if they were blue lol. Anyway, I do have experience with planted tanks from the past along with herpetoculture and vivariums since i was a docent at the dallas zoo herp house and a member of NTHS.
