sorry, I forgot to do this when I joined a couple months ago. My name is Angela and I love fish! My Hubby bought me my first betta fish in L.A. about 4 and a half years ago and I've been addicted ever since. We had 7 fish tanks running in CA. but gave them all away when we decided to move to back to Houston. We only brought one fish with us for the long drive back to Texas, my female Cambodian red betta Nicole. She died a couple months back, I guess of old age since she was over 4 years old 
We missed her so we went out and bought a bigger tank that we could put lots of female bettas in, which is what led me to this site seeking sorority tank advise. At this time we have a 10 gallon with 7 female bettas, one 3 gallon eclipse with 8 baby clown killifish, two 2 gallon tanks with one male betta in each, one 16 year old Persian cat and one 2 year old little girl named Annabelle. I am planning on getting at least a 20 gallon soon.
We are both originally from Houston but most of our friends live back in L.A so we would love to meet some new people here with similar interests/hobby's. If there is enough room we would like to come to the meeting turned party on Friday so we could meet some of y'all. We have chairs, beer and cookies
