  • Hi Folks..

I heard of this forum from Jim, and decided to pop over and join too.
I'm an Angelfish hobbyist, mostly, but do raise some Bristle nosed plecos and corys. I've been addicted and into raising fish for over 40 years. I can always learn and I enjoy meeting new folks and looking for more ways to improve my fish keeping, and pass on to others some of what I've learned.
I'm looking forward to checking out all the posts and catching up on what's happening here.
Thanks for having a nice forum....good ones are sometimes hard to find..

Hello !!!!!!! I love Angel fish but have been told that they are very difficult to keep alive so have always been to scared to try. I would really hate to have a fish's death on my hands. That is why when ever a fish need to be put out of it's misery I make my husband do it hahahaha
My fish have more personality than you

I've noticed that lots of angelfish breeders also breed corydoras. Is there a reason for that?

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Maybe cuz angels and corys make such a great combo, and when the water quality and tank maturity reach a level that angels are comfortable breeding in, the corys get ready too. That's my theory, anyway, though my corys never bred and the angels went through almost 30 spawns.
