Big tanks are addicting.  Every wall that is 6ft, I look there first to see how my tanks woudl fit, before any furniture items.

    Funny thing..my TV is a 13" sandwiched between a 115 gallon and a 125 gallon.

    Big tanks are cool..

Re: My name is Imagirlgeek, and I'm a fishaholic.

Well, for what it's worth, I have found my 2 largest tanks on craigslist.  The 150 was being sold by the sister of a guy who couldn't keep it in his apartment for lack of room, and she got tired of taking care of it.  They sold me the tank, custom built stand, glass tops, 3 filters, a bunch of holey rock, the sand, a colony of Frontosa (who have consistantly bred for me), various other large cichlids, the whole thing for $400!  And this last tank, the 210 I had been wanting for so long, but never saw one in my price range anywhere that wasn't snatched up right away, hehe, so I created a post saying I wanted to buy a 200+ tank for a reasonable price.  I really didn't think I'd get any hits, but about a month after I posted a woman emailed me.  She and her husband had a tank that had a leak and they just didn't want to deal with it anymore, so I got the tank, glass tops, and stand for...well, let's just say it was less than a dollar a gallon.     So after 2 tubes of silicone and sore fingertips, we've got the tank ready to go.  In fact, I saw this morning that my husband brought it into the dining room last night after I went to bed.  I think he's trying to tell me something.

Re: My name is Imagirlgeek, and I'm a fishaholic.

Good deals, Imagirlgeek. bought the new 100gal not long ago for $300 without filter. But now, I am saving up for the new custom built 210gal. The LFS will sell it to me for $1000

To fishlady: Okay. I promise to post the pic of my hybrid tank in the plant section once I buy the SONY camera. I have financial difficulty, and so my 6-7'' jardiny is sharing the room with my 7 turtles, of course with a tank divider.
