    Hola Everybody!!!!!

    Hi, I been creeping around the site for that last month or so and finally decided to introduce myself. I recently purchased a 30 gallon tank and filled it with mollies,tetras, and guppies. I started this hobby to bring me and my daughter closer (14 going on 37   ). I had no idea how great and addicting it could be. My daughter loves it. We were amazed one morning when we realized there were babies in the tank! I didn't know that I had purchased livebearers nor had the kid at Petco who sold them to me. However, it was a pleasant surprise. I stumbled onto this site by accident and havent looked back since. You guys provide a wealth of information and some laughs to both of us. I just got a 75 gallon which should be up and running soon. We would just like to say THANKS from a father/daughter fishkeeping team .

      Welcome to the box. We are all here to help. Congrats on the babies, and sorry for the not so knowledgeable help at PetCo, but hey we all had to learn somewhere, guess they were new. anyway glad to see you becoming a fish addict so soon. there is a new club meeting just tommorow but im sure you have seen that thread. Come if you want. And again Welcome to the Box and we are so glad to have you aboard.

           Welcome to HFB!

          And you've already begun showing symptoms of MTS!  

          It's a great hobby, and wonderful that you can share it with your daughter! Glad you both are here.

            I wish my 15yo was more interested.  He likes them, but not much into the upkeep part...LOL.

                Welcome!!  I love this site and the people are great!  Isn't in amazing how fish bring people together?!  My stepkids are ALWAYS wanting to help clean the filters...and then argue about who is going to "squeeze the fish poo" out of the sponges!! 8O

                      Sure!  You can borrow the stepkids anytime, szidlon.  But I'm warning you, be careful what you wish for!

                            Welcome to the box. I havent been on here long but have meet a lot of the boxers and everyone is a good person to chat with. Everyone loves to poke at each other and still give ideas. I have been an addict since Taipan introduced me to this site. I use it at work all the time. I guess the first step is to admit your an addict.
