What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
Welcome to the support/enabling group for your oncoming addiction, more lovingly known as "The Box". Lots of great folks on here. Also, welcome to Tomball where it's not out of the ordinary to see a farmer drive his tractor down Main Street.
180g - 2 Red Oscars, 1 Tiger Oscar, 1 JD, Convicts, convicts & more convicts
75g - 1 Silver Aro, 1 Mean Koi Angel
50g - Various platy & mollies
10g - 1 Green Spotted Puffer
So besides having to goto work today and well...work. I bought some Holey Rock. I've come to the conclusion my fish tank is still cycling, so I am holding off for a couple weeks before I add cichlids. The breeds I think look nice, and I am beginning to research are as follows:
Kenyi Yellow Tail Acei Peacocks Lohachata Loaches And maybe Sexifaciatus's
I have also added pictures of my tank with the new rocks. If you compare it to the first image to this one, I hope you see an improvement. Still trying to figure out where to place the fake plants. So today I added two new rocks, and completed a water change. Wish it would cycle faster. :)

Tomball isn't the only area with farmers driving their tractors down a major street. 44 Acres Homes! We got pig farms, ranches, and plenty of tractors driving up and down S. Victory (our version of Main Street)

Get some used filter media from a fellow member......instant cycle!
I can give you some blue filter pad material from my Oscar tank. Toss it in, wait a couple hours, test the water & you're done! Let me know cuz I'm gonna change it out this week.
