Hello All!
I am new to the forum and wanted to post a little intro. My name is John and I am from Houston. I have been in the aquarium hobby for most of my life (my dad got me started young). For the last couple years I didn't keep any aquariums and mostly focused on my reptile projects. In the last few months the bug has bitten again and I started with a smaller 2 or 3 gallon hex naturally planted tank. I soon needed more and got one of the 40 breeders during petcos dollar per gallon sale. I have set this tank up in the same manner (natural planted soil based tank). Right now I do not have any fish just plants and 2 wood shrimp along with maybe 10-20 ghost shrimp. I hope to get some fish soon but I am still deciding what all I want in the tank. I am glad to be on the forum and hope to get some good info here.
