  • And it slowly starts again

    Hi all,
I won't bore you all so you get the short version, started with freshwater tanks on and off as a kid, then bought a place, got rid of the recliner, and put in a custom 5 foot Saltwater tank. Learned really quick that this hobby loves to take my money, and in the first year had 2 full wipe out crashes that almost got me to quit. Yet I decided to try it out one more time with more difficult and rare fish (go big or go home right?), and I guess the fish gods were kind that day, as the tank lasted over 4 years without problems, and I was able to sell everything quickly when I tore it down.
I am building a place in Katy and will need everything again, as well as info on good shops to buy from. So I figured it would be a good idea to get a feel of things in the Houston area prior to starting the build.
Former owner for years of a custom 125g Saltwater tank, full of SPS, Zoes, Softies, and lots of fish. Then I moved . . . Now time to go bigger and better
