  • Transplant from KY

    Hi,
I moved to Houston about three months ago from KY. Sadly, I had to leave my beautifully planted 75 gallon behind, but managed to cram a 10 and 5 gallon in the car with me and my parrot. So, currently I just have a 5 gal with a betta, and a 10 gal with endler's and red cherry shrimp, both are planted- but i need to work on them a bit.
In the past I've had up to 9 tanks at one time, keeping everything from natives, saltwater, cichlids, rainbows, shrimp, snails... pretty much everything but African cichlids.
Oh, I've already converted someone I met down here to a fish nerd, so I expect he'll join the forum shortly. :)

Glad to find an active local group to join!

    Welcome to the box!!!
    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Thanks! I was never really drawn to africans before- but it's very tempting since the water here is so conducive to keeping them. I think I'll definitely try some out once I get settled.
