Indeed, Welcome Aboard! Might think about swapping substrate to a planted tank staple like Eco-Complete or Flourite for more options in the future. Try adding some wood and some type of moss. Anubias and crypts are terrific starters as well. Lighting is a big restriction to begin with, but is easily remedied. There are some relatively cheap options for low to medium light low tech set ups, like a dual T5 or PC set up. Excel dosing can always help as well (liquid carbon alternative source). In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Well yeah I started the tank in mind with having ten neons and a betta but I kinda moved on from that. Then decided I wanted plants and I'm already really well stocked for plants. I have low light so far I only have a t8 floralmax bulb. That's why I have the anubius and anacharis. And today I went to the fish gallery looking to buy a really nice pleco and ended up buying a really nice Java fern. So in total I have a
Sword, Anubius Nana, Anacharis, 3 Morimo moss balls, and 3 small Java ferns that I dropped in today. I dose flourish every few weeks. And so far its been really good except I got that price of drift wood I tried to attach the sword and Nana and so far you can see its not too aesthetically pleasing but it'll get there. As for the substrate I really don't want tl use the nutrient rich one I'd like to just switch to a finer smoother substrate that will look a lot nice and not like a bigginner tank. Since I consider myself an aquarium connoisseur probably not expert but close. As for plants I'm intermediate!
