    Hi we are new into saltwater and learning a lot and have a ? And not sure where to post my wife was hanging a large picture above our tank and missed the nail and it feel and hit the rear of the tank. The tank is drilled with 3 bulkheads with PVC 90 well when fell it hit 2 of the 90's and it busted 90 but also cracked the tank where was drilled there are 4 cracked lines about 3 to 3 1/2 long and tryed to tighten bulk head and made longer. Can it be fixed. I took rock,water and fish out and put in drum. Help please

          Sooo sorry to hear about your miss hap. Its never a good thing when that happens, but good news is you found us and theres always tanks being sold on here pretty cheap. What size was it?

            sorry to hear about the accident...but welcome to the Box! lots of good people on here and a variety of things for sale cheaper than the stores.

              I would not use the tank, even if you temporarily fix it! With the weight of the rock, sand, and water plus the movement of the pumps, it would be cheaper in the long run to find you another tank. Sorry for the accident but welcome!

                Maybe a pic of the damage could help...
                If the crack is where i think it is it could run all the way to the bottom,
                and that's bad news...

                      Welcome to Houston Fish Box. I am from Beaumont too and I do few DIY but your case I don't think it can fix it because the pressure of water but you can use the tank raise to different animal beside fish.

                        Welcome to the box! Hate to hear that, I definitely wouldn't take a chance it will only get worse until everything on the floor. Like everyone else has said check out the buy/sell threads there are always great deals here
