Hello I am geoff_tropheus

I just wanted to say hello,and introduce myself.

I have kept Cichlids for 20 years.  I have kept nothing but Tropheus for the past 7 years.  I keep 8 differnt variants of Tropheus.  I have them listed in my signature and what tank size.

My cichlid career is pretty much the first 10 years it was all Central and South Americans.  The last 10 Africans, where I transgressed to Tanganyikans and now I keep only Tropheus. I have kept some tropical fish but never really grabbed my attention like cichlids did.

I am a member of the Houston Tropheus and Petrochromis club which was just started about 2 months ago.

I look forward to interacting and possibly meeting some of you one day.

Cool, but I dont see any of your meetings scheduled in the calendar. The HFB has been known to give new clubs forums but you have to ask. The HLA is willing to trade links with your new club. I am not much of a cichlid guy but let me know if I can help.

We just got the club started.  I am speaking with the host of this forum to see what all I need to be able to have our own section such as yours.

I appreciate greatly the chance to share fish informantion, links, or photos.

The main focus of our club will be the advancement of knowledge of keeping Tropheus, and Petros, but many member also have other intrests that will make it all worth while.

I need to get a computer, and been trying for months to get my old files from the ex-sigoth with not much luck.

good luck you got several more tropheus fanatics joining in your cult. ( i am hanging on by a thread to avoid joinin  8O  ) mostly because i dont have space for large colony. or large tank for that matter
