I'm new to this forum

Howdy to all!!   My name is Jeff and I live near Victoria ( 'bout 100 miles or so from "most" of ya'll).  I'm not new to the  hobby, just new here.  I found this site on a link from the Hill Country Cichlid Club (proud member) and you guys have a great club/forum going.  Hope to get to meet some of ya'll soon.

My "addiction" is 30 tanks and growing - currently filtering over 1000 gallons -  All malawi's.  I've been breeding ( well, not me, but my other fish ) for several years.  I sell most of fish locally and to one LFS.  I'm leaning toward thinning down from some of the more common malawi's and venturing into more difficult to find fish.  I know this ain't a "trading post" thread here, but if any of you are in my area, I've got in excess of 500 fish for sell - from fry to 3"+.

Maybe start a sale thread with pictures! pictures will always help the sale.

I would recommend you make a post in the trade area with at least a list of sizes, price etc...  Adding pictures helps A LOT

You are pretty far, but you never know...post some pics and people just might see something that they must have!   :)  But be sure to post in the Fish Market forum so noone misses it!

I have always had small tanks and I ventured here and now I have 3 in my classroom and um.. *counting 1...2...3..* 14 running, one waiting to be put on a stand (it's small) and 3 betta tanks.  My largest is a 75 with angels and shellies (multis) and smallest aside from the bettas is a 5.5 growing out some mbunas and peacocks.  Welcome!!! I hope one day you decide to venture up to attend a meeting.  We are a really REALLY fun bunch!...well... MOST are really fun   Just kidding.... we all share a WONDERFUL bond of our love of fish.  WELCOME

Welcome to the forum. I am a newbie myself and I have to tell you. I have already met some awesome people. I would do as everyone suggested and post your fish with pictures in the fish market. If you do shipping you might get some sales out of it. Being that you are in Texas you can do UPS and anyone in the area should receive it the next day. This is what I call cheap next day air! :wink:

Yeah I have done UPS Ground from Victoria and Dallas before and I get it next day
