question about photo gallery

I was looking at my photo gallery and noticed under a couple of the pictures some stars and a vote. Maybe I am missing something, but how do you vote and what are the meaning of the stars?

It's like a rating. People can vote on how much they like the pictures. To vote, you just click on one of the stars.

I guess I am missing something, when I view other peoples photo albums I do not see any starts to click on.

You'll only see them when you click on individual pictures. Are you seeing them elsewhere?

I haven't seen any... And I even clicked on numerous individual pictures to see if that was the problem. Actually, well, it's not really a problem. I enjoy looking at the pictures, that's enough for me!  :emtthumbs:

I went to several different pictures, clicked on the picture and get a somewht larger view, but no stars. There are some really nice pictures in some of these gallery albums and I would like to show my appreciation but am not able to click on stars I can not see.

It seems I can vote on my own but not others'.

what happened to the stars and voting on the photo gallery, they seem to be gone. Have you decided to discontinue the voting?
