Hello everyone. My name is Brandon O'Brian, and I have been in the aquarium hobby for years now. I have taken a break from fish keeping since 2013 due to depression. Now, I am going to be in the hobby again, starting in 2015. I have mainly kept freshwater fish, and briefly had a saltwater tank in the past too. My main interests are livebearers and freshwater shrimps and crabs. My all time favorite fish is the Endler's Livebearer (Poecilia wingei). Another interest I have are killifish, and my favorite is the Gardner's Killifish (Fundulopanchax gardneri). I also keep anything that grabs my eyes. I have had an account here for a year now, but I have barely touched it. I am reviving it since I am getting back into fish keeping.
Some other interests I have are carnivorous plants (my favorites are Sarracenia and Nepenthes), Japanese film music (my favorite composer is Akira Ifukube), and weather. I am 19 years old and I live in Houston, Texas.
