  • Saying Hello

I've decided I miss the hobby and am looking to get back into it, so I found this place today and have been reading up a bit. Used to have a 75 and two 55 when I was in Nebraska and sold it all when we moved eight years ago, did not have time with the young kids for the maintenance so it was a good out at the time.
Not sure what I want to do just yet, I would like to do 75 or bigger and I would really like live plants and discus but given I don't have anything yet and don't know how my water is I will work up to that most likely.

I'll suggest that u can go ahead n test water that r provided in ur area first...... if its hard with PH nearing 8 then go for african cichlid ( Malawi or Tanganyika ) if soft then SA cichlids ( discus ) if nutral then CA cichlid .......
