Hello, my name is Kris - I am new to keeping aquariums and I love it :)

I have a 30 gallon that I just replaced the silicone on the seams (it had a leak - used tank)  When it is done it will have my cichlids, pink convicts, and blue lobster in it.

I have a 20 gallon for my livebearers (mostly guppies, but some mollys) that has some juvenile fry and some newborn fry in it.  It also contains mystery snails (that just laid eggs - I am so excited) and my shrimp.  I have a few cherry shrimp, some zebra shrimp and ridiculously healthy ghost shrimp (I think the biggest is 2.5 inches!)

I have a 14 gallon with some tetras

I also have 4 male bettas and two female bettas, a black moor goldfish, and some wild colored guppies that look all cute and sparkly...

I am new but always eager to learn more.

I think I am addicted to the hobby...

I definitely will once I have my 30 set up.  I had it perfect and then saw the pinhole leak.  I cried then emptied it.  

I am so proud of how this tank looks when finished.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.  I am excited to be on here because in one evening I have already learned more about fish and keeping fish, though my boyfriend says I need to slow down - we have too many tanks...

Welcome to the Box!!!  Tell your boyfriend that he doesn't know what too many tanks is yet....LOL!!!  My ex-g/f said it was too many after 7 and I know of a few folks on here with way more than 7....LOL!!!  

Enjoy the addiction!!!  And just remember it could always be worse, just go price a few saltwater items.

I am agreeing with Hanson...  I know some people here who are attempting to cut down on their number of tanks they have so they can invest more time with just 30 tanks.   I know of one person who has over 50 at their house.   You dont have to many yet... hehe :)
Once you feel up for a little more adventure in your life, think about joining one or more of the fish clubs in the Houston area.   You get to meet more people there with the same addiction and you get to socialize and talk about fish and a ton of other stuff.  Always fun to goto a meeting :)
