    this is why I like aquaclear filters.. they are more expensive.. but they use sponges.. I dont have to throw away the sponges.. I just clean the media and return it back into the filter again.

    What fish do Jesper have

      Yeah, but they tend to pop up like a toaster when the sponge gets clogged, then spilling water on the floor. That's why I like the Penguin and Emperor Biowheel filters.  :wink:

        mine pop up when clogged... and I clean them.  BEFORE I let them sit for months allowing them to be like a cement brick of nastiness

          By the time I found out they needed to be cleaned, my carpet was wet. That's why I sold ALL my aquaclear filters at a previous HAS auction!
