wtb - digital camera (need help with looking for one)

i dont know much about em but im looking for a good one with movement. i guess that would be the shutter speed. i want to be able to get good pics of my fish. they are always moving and even though i have a good cam on my phone its too slow and the pics come out blurry.

I plan on going to look for one this weekend.any suggestions on a good one for a poor person?

i have a kodak v610 but its just not good enough. the fish have to be still for a good pic.

DSLR is a type of camera. All the clean nice pictures you see are taken with a DSLR.

Point and shoot cameras will not be as sharp and you have to use flash or a lot of overhead lights to make it look clean. Even then it is still nothing compared to a DSLR.

And how important is portability? (dslr are not what I consider to be portable - packable yes - portable no)

Nikon makes this camera. It's like their entry level DSLR. But it's still really nice and produces clean sharp pictures. Almost any DSLR will do.

portability is not important at all. i havent really set a budget yet because i dont know what the price range is.

lol, you can do a little better with a point and shoot camera.

You just got to learn how to use a photo editing program.

Cropping the images is simple and does a lot.

My camera is a point and shoot,
and Thai will tell you how badarse my cam is.
Sony dsc9 second only to a dslr, will run you about $350.

look at craiglist bro and try for nikon d40s...they are EXACTLY what you need...im looking into a d40 or possibly a d60 or 80
